Mt. Baldy Expedition (Elevation 10,064 ft)
June 26, 2005 - Our team of crazy people went on a training hike in order to prepare for our Mt. Whitney torture on October 2, 2005. Needless to say, it was harder than we all thought. Eddie was first to the top, but all the ladies made it about 30 minutes later. We were all very impressed on how the girls especiall Allison made it to the top with non-hiking shoes. We hiked for a total of about 8 hours. 5 up and 3 down with the last 20 minutes on the ski lift going down. Yes, we cheated but I don't think any of us were prepared for the 11 or so miles of torture.
